The University of Liverpool’s Institute of Irish Studies degree is a leading educational experience. A unique and rewarding course, bursting with rich culture and heritage.

We were approached by The Institute of Irish Studies to create exciting, interesting and engaging animations for two very different aspects of the Institute. The first animation we created was aimed at potential new students, showing them all the benefits and brilliant opportunities a degree in Irish Studies has to offer.

The second set of animations were for a citizens’ assembly – organised by The Institute of Irish Studies. The animations have been designed to work as resource tools – explaining to participants how power-sharing in Northern Ireland works. This complicated topic was broken down into simple yet effective sets of animations: ‘How does Government work in Northern Ireland’ ‘Are there alternatives to Mandatory Coalition’. We then created a further animation which delivered findings and research called The Future of Power Sharing in Northern Ireland’

We created an illustration style for both sets of animations, designed intensely intricate storyboards for each, brought them them all to life with animation and bespoke music.
