We designed the FOWHP logo and will be carrying out other creative work in the future. The garden is a multi purpose space for growing, socialising and education, all funded by the Big Lottery grant. The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Lady Mayoress and Junior Lord Mayors opened it. Tesco Walton, Asda Walton the volunteers and members supplied the food for event. Walton MP Dan Carden and former Walton MP Peter Kilfoyle also attended, as well as the lovely community and park visitors. We visited the garden last Winter when the space was in very early stages of development. We were amazed by the transformation! Congratulations to Chrisie and all of the members and volunteers who have put in many hours of hard work. They have built planters, polytunnels a greenhouse, planted an array of beautiful flowers, plants and vegetables, as well as making it a great place for children to get involved.
