Bluecoat Display Centre
Having designed the Bluecoat Display Centre's logo many years ago we were delighted to be commissioned by the Centre to review and redesign their website.
Working alongside talented Liverpool-based illustrator and web-developer Harry Nesbitt and photographer Deana Kay, our objective was to refresh the Display Centre's look and feel, simplify the user experience and improve accessibility.
The new website was designed to reflect and promote the Centre’s new charitable status, realigning the focus towards its highly renowned exhibition and education work. We sought feedback from the Centre, its makers and customers as we restructured and simplified both the ‘maker’ profiles and ‘shop’ pages to deliver a simpler, more informed experience – one which also, for the very first time, starts to exploit social network marketing.

We also took the opportunity to introduce the newly revamped logo and a bespoke font, which will be applied to the Centre’s printed material.
" We have worked with Nonconform on two major projects, one connected with design and branding for print and publicity, and the other more recently for website design. On both projects we found them exceptionally receptive to our brief, and the work that was produced has been universally admired by both clients and board members. The work took into account the limitations that we had with regards to on going revenue costs as a small organisation, but this in no way compromised the finished projects.
All work arrived on deadline, and we found Nonconform exceptionally sensitive to our needs, while being very intuitive and well informed about our sector, which pointed to very detailed research having taken place behind the scenes. Should you require any further information about Nonconform, please do not hesitate to ask".
