Here at Nonconform, we recognise that Climate change is a major challenge and that greenhouse gas emissions are causing major environmental damage.If we are to minimise the effects of Climate Change, it is important to recognise the environmental impact of Nonconform and reduce our use of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).
In order to be awarded with our Carbon Neutral status, it was necessary for us as a whole company to offset the excess CO2 that we were unable to reduce.
The assessment of our Carbon Footprint was made with the help of 'The Carbon Mangers', which involved a carbon analyst calculating our carbon footprint in accordance with ISO standard 14064.
The offsetting process involved investment into projects or technologies that actively help to reduce global CO2 levels. 'The Carbon Managers' work with a number of leading organisations around the globe to deliver an ethically selected portfolio of VER and CER offset projects.
Following our audit, 'The Carbon Managers' compiled a report detailing practical steps which we have taken in order to reduce our CO2 emissions.
