A promotional campaign for LOOK/15: Exchange, this year's incarnation of Liverpool International Photography Festival
We came up with the campaign message 'Have you seen LOOK15?' to reflect the core theme 'Exchange' and provoke a chain of exchanges throughout the festival period.
The LOOK team had identified 5 key images that demonstrated the scope of the work, the diversity of style and content, and the dialogue between three key themes often overlooked in photography: women, migration and memory. We created a clean typographic solution that interacted with the work, without compromising the work itself and selected an informal colour palette, from colours within the core images.
Key elements of the campaign roll-out included large and smaller format poster campaigns, an editorially-led festival brochure/magazine and a pocket-sized map to help visitors navigate the 30 exhibitions and 45 events across the city and beyond.
We created a set of animations for use on Social Media platforms to launch the festival campaign, and to highlight key content strands throughout the festival period. We also managed print production and devised and managed the print distribution campaign for this year's festival.
